Jennifer Lopez commissioned three different dresses for her weekend wedding to Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez wed Ben Affleck last month — and then held a bigger celebration in Georgia last weekend.  Now, she’s sharing an exclusive close-up of her gorgeous wedding dress.

Vogue shared a behind-the-scenes look of the “On The Floor” singer’s August 20 nuptials, which took place at her and Affleck’s Riceboro, Georgia, home.

Lopez wore a custom Ralph Lauren Collection gown that took over 500 meters of fabric to construct. The turtleneck column dress was customized with ruffles, from the top of the collar to the matching sleeves. In all, over 1,000 handkerchiefs were stitched into the fabric, and were used to create a cascading effect on the skirt and train.

The gown was backless, with only a strand of buttons coming down from the top of the collar to the small of her back. It was accessorized with a cathedral veil.

In all, the singer had three separate dresses commissioned for her big night. One dress was draped in strings of pearls while the other had a keyhole neckline and back straps embossed with Swarovski crystals.

Ralph Lauren shared a video of how they constructed her elaborate bridal looks.

As for Affleck, Ralph Lauren Couture constructed his tuxedo. He wore a white jacket, a black bow tie and black pants. Their children were also fitted with white Ralph Lauren Couture clothing.

When it came to the actual ceremony, Lopez hired wedding planner Colin Cowie to bring her romantic vision to life.

The two overlooked the North Newport River as they shared their vows under a white metal church framework that was covered in delphiniums. The ceremony was officiated by author Jay Shetty.

The pair were first engaged in 2002, but split up a few years later. They rekindled their relationship in 2021.

Pierre Suu/GC Images

After quietly tying the knot in Las Vegas a month ago, newlywed Jennifer Lopez and her groom, Ben Affleck, are going to throw a rager of a wedding celebration this weekend, Page Six reports.

According to the paper, the three-day intimate celebration at Affleck’s estate in Georgia for family and friends will start on Friday with a rehearsal dinner, followed by a formal ceremony on Saturday, and a barbecue and picnic on Sunday.  JLo will wear a custom couture Ralph Lauren gown made in Italy, Pages Six dishes, and notes that Vogue will be on hand to document her fashion journey.

“It’s going to be all about JLo. Ben wants all of the focus to be on her for their big day,” an insider tells Page Six.

Page Six also reports that among the stars expected at the event are Matt Damon, Ben’s brother Casey Affleck, Jimmy Kimmel and Drea de Matteo.

Last month, JLo and Ben — who were first engaged in 2002 but called off the wedding — ran off to Las Vegas and got hitched at the Little White Wedding chapel.

Lady Gaga releases teaser for ‘Joker 2’, all signs point to her playing Harley Quinn

ABC/Randy Holmes

Lady Gaga has found her next acting role — this time in the upcoming Joker 2She confirmed her casting on Thursday, hinting she’ll be playing the villainous Harley Quinn.

“Joker: Folie à Deux,” Gaga announced on Instagram — the film’s title — and shared a brief teaser of the upcoming thriller set to debut in theaters in 2024.

The video, set to a red backdrop, features Gaga’s all black silhouette — except for a little red heart on her right eye — dancing to Fred Astaire‘s “Cheek to Cheek.” The heart’s placement is in the same spot as Margot Robbie‘s interpretation of Harley Quinn, which appeared in several films, including 2021’s The Suicide Squad.

The snippet also sees the return of Joaquin Phoenix‘s Joker — a role that landed him an Oscar — also appearing as a silhouette.

His shadow is posed like a marionette smoking a cigarette while Gaga, who is dressed in a long dress with puffy sleeves, strikes a menacing pose. The two shadows then join together in a dance, with the Joker’s markings around his eyes and Harley’s heart on her cheek highlighted in red.

The Grammy winner was first rumored to star as Harley Quinn of the upcoming Joker sequel earlier this summer, following reports the franchise will flirt with more musical elements. While this teaser seemingly confirms the rumors, she has yet to explicitly name the character she’s playing in the upcoming movie.

The upcoming sequel will be directed by Todd Phillips, who previously produced A Star Is Born, the 2018 remake that starred Joker producer Bradley Cooper and Gaga.

Joker: Folie à Deux laughs its way into theaters on October 4, 2024.

The first Joker movie grossed over $1 billion worldwide and picked up a pair of Oscars, including Phoenix’s Best Actor win.

Steve Granitz/FilmMagic

If they haven’t already tied the knot, it appears as though Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are getting ready to do so at any moment.

The couple, who got engaged in April, took out a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada on Saturday.  While various outlets are reporting that the two have actually gotten married, that hasn’t been confirmed. ABC News has reached out to the couple’s representatives.

Affleck and Lopez were previously engaged in 2002, but postponed their 2003 wedding before finally breaking up in 2004. Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Garner in 2005; they divorced in 2018. Lopez married singer Marc Anthony in 2004, but they divorced in 2014.  Affleck shares three kids with Garner, while J-Lo shares 14-year-old twins with Anthony.

Last year, after Jennifer and fiancé Alex Rodriguez broke up, she and Affleck rekindled their romance, and he proposed in April.

Earlier this year, Lopez told People of their romance, “It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other.”

You’re related to WHO? Kevin & Frankie Jonas host ABC’s new game show ‘Claim to Fame’

ABC/John Fleenor

On a new ABC game show airing Monday night, 12 people who are related to celebrities will compete to cash in on the fact that they’ve got a famous family member. Called Claim to Fame, the show — co-hosted by Jonas Brothers member Kevin Jonas and his little brother Frankie Jonas — boasts a $100,000 prize.

“We have 12 contestants living in a house together that are all related to a famous relative, but they don’t know who is related to who. And so the idea is you’ve got to maintain your secret identity for as long as you can,” Kevin explains to ABC Audio. “So [there are] a lot of twists and turns, a lot of figuring out who’s related to people by the games we play with them and, y’know, giving away any information as it comes along.”

“There’s a lot of strategy involved, but it’s also just really fun,” Kevin adds. However, he thinks the contestants didn’t realize quite how cutthroat the competition would be.

“[They] went into this thing going, ‘Y’know, I’m going to meet a lot of people that have similar circumstances as me!'” he laughs. “So they thought they were making a lot of friends … and I’m not sure everyone stayed friends the whole time!”

Kevin says he and Frankie were “kept in the dark about who was related to who” so they could play along. As a result, Kevin says, “The reaction … from us [when we start] understanding who’s related to who is very genuine.”

“But then off set, we’re having pools as to see whose guesses are correct,” Frankie laughs. “And surprisingly, pretty much consistently, we were both massively incorrect!”

Claim to Fame debuts Monday, July 11, at 10:01 p.m. ET on ABC.

Selena Gomez says her ’Only Murders’ and ’Wizards of Waverly Place’ characters have a lot in common

Craig Blankenhorn/Hulu

Selena Gomez agrees her Wizards of Waverly Place character, Alex Russo, has a lot in common with Mabel, whom she plays on her new show, Only Murders in the Building.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer joked how both series center on a trio of eccentric people. But, while one show deals with magical powers, and the other deals with, well, murder, Selena says her characters could be one and the same.

“I feel like Mabel is an older version of Alex in a way,” the Grammy nominee disclosed, adding she “a thousand percent” channeled what she learned on her Disney Channel show on her newest series.

“I adored being on that show so much. I felt like I did learn a lot,” Selena explained. “We actually had great writers — we had two writers that were on Friends — and we had an incredible director that we used for most of our seasons. We got really lucky. I still look back at that and laugh at certain things just because I thought it was so fun, and we tried.”

Selena turned her attention to Only Murders and said the show helped revive her love of acting. The “Wolves” singer admitted she placed her music career over acting gigs for several years, which is why she decided to “take some time for my true love, which is film and TV.”

“I’m not sure I was looking for a series, I was just looking for something in general,” she continued. “This was just honestly a wonderful surprise. [My team and I] got the material and responded right away, and I thought it was so cool. I definitely didn’t think it would do this well but I’m definitely happy.”

Only Murders is streaming its second season now on Hulu.

The slideshow of pictures and video of the celebrity couple together were coupled with an interview voiceover from Lopez in which she said, “nothing is more fulfilling to me than being able to build a family with someone” she loves “deeply,” who is, “…just as dedicated to family and to each other as we can be…”

The first teaser trailer for Harry Styles’ ‘My Policeman’ is finally here

Courtesy Amazon Prime Video

Only a few months to go before Harry Styles‘ new movie, My Policeman, arrives in theaters, and to hype fans further, Amazon released the first teaser trailer on Wednesday.

The teaser flips through some of the more emotional moments of the upcoming drama, which features Harry as a closeted officer named Tom. The R-rated film also stars The Crown’s Emma Corrin as a schoolteacher named Marion and The Last Kingdom’s David Dawson as a museum curator named Patrick.

The teaser shows a conversation between Patrick and Tom, as the latter describes how a painting of the ocean makes him feel. “I can sense the waves.  You know how strong they are, like swimming in rough surf.  You feel they could crush you or take you under,” he describes. “You just have to let it take hold of you.”

The movie is about a forbidden love between Tom and Patrick, as the movie is set in 1950s England when homosexuality was prohibited. While Tom marries Marion in an attempt to fit into society, Patrick suffers the consequences when he is outed.

My Policeman is based on the book of the same name. After it debuts in theaters on October 21, it will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video on November 4.
